[Colossus if you read my post properly you would have seen that she did take the hit. I said she moved forward, so you bite her back end, not so much the middle of her back. You did cut her open, it wasnt deadly, but it was a bad cut. Also Jasmine can feel that she is way more experience, its like her thinking that, everyone does it. You havnt taken many hits either, so you are doing the same thing. She didnt know where he would attack either, she only jumped to the side, knowing she was in front of him, and its common knowledge that he would lunged forward back at her. So you cannot change your post just what she did. If I was in a fight, after I like punched someone I would most likley move back or something, not just stand there, because I would know my oppent would go to strike back unless they are stupid and just take hits. I dont see how I am powerplaying, because I know I am not. I have not taken over your charrie, nor just like made a hit like. Jasmine bite on his neck, and killed him instantly. But when I said what you pointed up above there Raven, I was only saying that she had good aim, and she made a new move, not like any she had made in the fight, so it would have surprised Colossus by it. Unless he could tell the future or something then yes he would know. Jasmine already has cuts on her muzzle, her side, and now a big one on her back end. So far he has no more damage than Jasmine. Im trying trying to sound rude, but you guys are ganging up on me! lol.]

((We're not ganging up on you! :) But yourdefinition of powerplaying is still a little wrong.

Powerplaying doesn't have to be 'he killed him' or whatever. It can just be 'he leapt upon him, and sunk his teeth into his back'. I know you didn't exactly post that, but let me explain.

Your exact words were 'She lunged forward, and acted as if she was biting at his shoulder, but only seconds before she bite him, she slashed across his face, brining in a surprise attack. There was no way the brute was ready for such an excellent attack as this'. In saying this, you are saying there is no way on earth he could predict what she was going to do. Fair enough. He can't. But, in saying this, Colossus would have to be struck across the face, if he were a good enough roleplayer to respond to the others post. You see? Also - 'If the brute was lucky, he might come up with only a small gash, but with her good aim, and speed, she knew she wouldnt.' Again, this is the same principle. You are saying that he can't escape this move, and that it will injure him. You must understand us when this comes across as unfair?

I don't know. To make it seem at least more fair, you must post that she has these injuries. You had to point them out to me before I even knew she had them. Any dog - No matter how high their bravery or fighting skills - Would be weakened if they had this huge slash on their back. Post more about how it hurts. And post about how this injury may make it harder to attack Colossus, or something to that effect.

When it comes down to it, you only put it down as a 'dash on the side'. You must really go into detail, and make sure your character gets caught sometimes. She can't wriggle out of everything. Maybe she's pinned to the floor? Maybe Colossus will be at some point too. But at the moment, for all of us who aren't actually typing your posts, it sure looks like she's getting out of everything, completely unscathed.

She's an experianced fighter. FIne. Good thing. But that doesn't mean she knows every single perfect move, that is certain to strike, and can get out of anything else. She's leaping up over and over again a little to quickly for my liking of a dog who's supposed to be injured.

Thanks.))

ooc: That's a load of bull and you know it. So far Colossus has suffered from spinal damage, a missing eye, and several lacerations around his paw, head, neck and shoulder areas, while Jasmine has a few cuts and scrapes. And yes, it is a reasonable assumption to say that he'd lunge forward at her, but no matter what you say you still don't know whether or not he'd actually do it. You wouldn't know if he'd lunge straight forward, or back off, do you? No, so don't post anything suggesting that you do. You're still making your dog seem all-powerful, and not only that, but you're putting down my own, saying that he'd not be ready for any attack that you've thrown. I can judge well enough on my own how surprised he'd be by the attacks you dish out, and trust me on this one, I can do it fairly. I don't need anyone doing it for me, and I don't do it for you, or anyone else. All I ask for is the respect back that I've given to you and your character. But it's not even worth the argument anymore, so don't kill Colossus. I'm just making him stop fighting in order to stop this stupid argument.

bic:

Colossus felt his face contort into a wicked snarl as his claws yet again collied with his face. His lips were lacerated and he could feel his gums rip and burst. Already they were swelling, and saliva and blood brewed together in his open jowls into a sticky, pinkish mixture that dribbled onto his short fur. Again he found himself light-headed and made the mistake to shake his massive skull, the at only increasing his uneasy state. He knew that he had so much more strength in reserve, but the bite he'd taken to the back of the neck was beginning to wear him down. He didn't move forward to attack, knowing that whatever was going wrong with him would only worsen if he danced around too much.

When she lunged forward yet again his head snapped to the side and his body bolted to the right, his already bleeding gums further damaged when his jaws collided with hers. It wasn't an attack to cause much damage, but to deflect her away long enough to open up a hole for his own attack. He'd foreseen that her madness would be her downfall, and had he excess emotion to spare he would've smirked. A great tactic was to simply wear one's enemy down. By making them come at your for every attack, one could save so much energy and power, and also have the advantage of thinking clearly while the enemy's mind was poisoned by their own crazed thoughts. His clear head had gotten him through many battles, and he felt that this would be no exception.

After deflecting most of her attack to his shoulder he skipped to the side, finding the opening he'd been looking for. All it would take was one lunge and he'd have her by the throat writhing beneath him, but that's when everything went wrong. When he made an attempt to bolt forward, he felt a loud popping in his head, and a severe pain emitting from the laceration on the back of his neck. The bottom half of his body dropped to the ground lifelessly, nd he found himself sitting there, eyes wide with disbelief. For instance there was a trace amount of fear, but Colossus had mind enough to wipe his slate of emotions clean for now. The time for feeling was over, now he just had to worry about letting the bull mastiff know that there was no way he'd let her continue to fight him.

Sure, he was stationary now, but it was possible that he was all the more dangerous. Wounded, immobile animals often fought harder than when in their prime. If approached, one could be sure that he'd lash out in his own defense without mercy. And that was the key. If he only focused on his defense, then he'd make it through things all right, even give a chance for the surrounding dogs to begin attacking the bull mastiff. No matter which way things turned, however, he was done fighting. He hadn't given up, of course, it was just that he was currently incapable of doing anything except watch his own back.

Jasmine smirked lightly, as she came closer to the brute, but only for her jaws to met his. Blood was already covered on her muzzle, from the cut that the brute made earlier. It was deep but she knew it would heal after several weeks. But it wasnt the pain that bothered her, no she could handle that. She had been through more pain than anyone here, and taught herself how to deal with it and ignored it. She was like a bunch of emotion all bundles up, ready to burst at anymoment. The only emotion she would let show was anger, because she took pleasure in killing others, and hurting them. Their cries were like a melody to her auds, blood was like a sweet dessert. The brute didnt seem like one of those types, he seemed more like one that would care, and love. But he knew how to hide them, and was doing them now. Jasmine had never been loved before, therefor didnt know how to show it back. Her own mother tried to kill her at one point, and lucky enough she had excapped into a hole small enough her mom couldnt get into.

But her past didnt matter anymore. She had to deal with what was going on now. Jasmine felt her claws clash with the back of his neck, and she retreated them back to the ground. She watched carefully as he sat down on his hanches, maybe tricking her, or really giving up. Now that she was stationary, the pain really kicked in. During battle her determination had taught her to ignore the pain, but now it was if her mind was clear for once. Shaking her dial also, blood flying off as she did so, she looked at the brute, unsure what to do.

She knew that she could easily kill him if she wanted now that he was weakened, and that was what Raven wanted, but she didnt know if she could. A pack was not all about if you could kill someone, she could easily do that. There was something much more than that, but she could explain what it was. She cried softly inside her head, as the pain from her back just started hurting. Now that the rain got heavier, it has washed most blood off of her, but also got into the cuts, and burned. This world really had got out of hand, with all the killing and hate. Jasmine looked back down at the brute, sighing softly, not knowing why she hadnt attacked him back yet.

"Are you quitting?"

She asked him, coldly. Everyone had a soft side for something, even Raven had to. It was impossible for one to hate everything, with no weakness, you just had to find it. She eyed the brute, knowing that she couldnt kill him, and she didnt care if Raven hated her, she was only doing what was right. You wouldnt have a pack if everyone killed each other, and that was what Raven was doing right now.

Jasmine was her still hell like self, but had just thought of life for the first time, and what it really ment. Raven probley wouldnt ever see, but now she did. Jasmine took a step back, away from the brute, not threating to made any moved towards him. Her orbs were still locked on him, unsure of what he was really doing. Talons still dug into the cold, muddy earth below her, standing her ground. Soon her legs became weak, and with her back end already weak, she staggered to stand up. Surly this was no sign of weakness, and she felt if she didnt kill this brute, Raven would kill her. Raven was the deadlest canine to cross paths with. Not that he was the strongest canine himself, but the pack he had. If you had problems with him, you would with his whole pack. Jasmine didnt fear it, for she knew it probley wouldnt be long till her death. She brought upon so many, now she didnt care about her own.

A canine near her, stricked her back, near the cut the brute gave her, and she snarrled in pain, and anger. Turning around she stricked the bitch back, and got her eye. The bitch lunged at her, biting her muzzle, but Jasmine pushed her off, knocking her down, with her weight. That moment she bite the throat, and shaked her dial, which was large for her body, killing the bitch in seconds. No one would attack her with her back turned and live. Right now all she was concerened on was the brute in front of her, and nothing else.

"I don't want to move around anymore," Colossus replied back. There was a fine line between not wanting to move and not being able to move well, but he made no attempt to define it. He didn't have to explain himself, but beyond the fact that he wouldn't be able to fight very well with malfunctioning legs were many more reasons to why he'd ceased their duel. It wouldn't be fair to him, because he was no fool and knew he'd die fighting her in this state. It also wouldn't be fair to her. The only time victory was completely earned was when your append fought in their prime when you brought them down. He'd already been defeated from his prime, and felt it unjust that such a wondrous potential victory would go to waste.

He was definitely no fool, but nor was he a coward. He would continue to fight until told to stop, just not with Jasmine. He'd finish this duel with her another time, one or or another. However with so many dogs around it wasn't long until Colossus was struck... accidental, but struck none the less. A Labrador mix crashed into him after skipping away to avoid an attack, and the bitch managed to flatten the rare rottweiler into the mud. Both dogs were temporarily stunned, and while the Labrador jumped back to her feet Colossus swung his head up and to the side.

He felt his teeth sink in and heard a cry rise from the bitch, but he found that his aim was low. He'd grasped onto her by the chest, but his jaws had locked there. Slowly he pressed his forepaws up from beneath him, pushing the upper half of his body up. He could feel the teeth of the panicked Labrador lashing out and striking his skin, and knew that he had to act quickly. He found that he could move one leg, the right one, and did not hesitate to rise up onto three legs. This forced him to twisted the lab's body down, shoving her back-first into the dirt.

His whole form trembled from both the icy rain the the exertion of his fighting. He was exhausted and wounded, his legs mostly numb and his vision skipping and blurring. He could hardly see the Labrador beneath him when he trapped her neck beneath his paw and proceeded to maul at her face with his teeth, due to the fact that the tender area of her throat and belly were protected by flailing claws that he just didn't have the energy to deal with.

Sharpay beared her teeth at Sweet Misery. She knew the fae was waiting for her next move. Well ha ha to her. She'd wait too. The stubborn collie sat sown on the tree stump, yawning slightly. Her fierce hazel optics gleamed fiercely as they glared at the aussie.

"I'm waiting beserker!" Sharpay called down at her in a sing songy voice, taunting the austrailen Shepard. "I'm all yours. So today please?" She snarled. Her canines gleamed in the light, snapping vicously.

"Stupid, stupid Missy. Doesn't know when to make a move!" The collie growled, as she lept down from the stump, hackles raised. Her pelt bristled with a twinge of annoyance as Sharpay decided the slow opponent wouldnt make the first move. She rolled her eyes as her claws sunk into the ground.

A small boxer ran by, trying to escape. Sharpay bit it's neck as it passed her, giving it the fatal bite. She smirked at Sweet Misery.

She only snorted as the bitch tried to taunt here but it was all in vain. Her sanity had slowly started to return and she was thinking much more clearly now. She listened to the bitch's words and watched as she killed another canine as though she would care. She didn't roll her eyes as only a pup would resort to such childish antics. Kissers parted to release here venomous and cold tones. "Bitch, wipe that smirk off your face unless you wish me to do it for you. What, you think your going to intimidate me with childish words and antics? Your a sad excuse for dog and taint our names with the actions you take. So, you couldn't come here yourself so you had to be told like some little pup. Well, Missy your not fucking with those pathetics things you call 'dogs'." She drew out the word the bitch had called her with much sarcasm and laced it with venom.

Her gaze held disgust for the bitch as well as hatred for her very soul that she thought shouldn't have even been placed on this earth. No longer would she waist here time on the bitch but would not turn her back on her either. Who knew how many cheap shots she would take just to make sure she would come out victorious. She snarled at the bitch as a sign of her absolute boredom and hatred of her. Slowly, she started to move around her once again but this was done a cool manner which was completely different from before. As though nothing was going to happen, she shot out quickly and ivories were bared. Roughly pushing against the ground with white paws, she sent herself toward the bitch. Jaws wished to sink into the bitch's shoulder which she would make happen although that was just her thinking. This was not to prove herself to anyone but just to show who she truly was and to show that she would not take anything from anyone.

Jasmine snorted lightly, unsure what to do at the moment. She didnt know if she should just go on and finish killing the brute, or leave him to get killed off by someone else. Looking around she saw the other members on her team fighting, and it looked like lots were already dead, leaving the strong left. Licking her chopps, she tasted the sweet blood, a little of the brutes, where she cut him open with her fangs, and some still left on her lips, the rest was her own. Sighing heavily, she stood up, orbs locked on the Rottweiler male in front of her.

"So you're just going to give up? Cause this fight isnt over, and Im sure Raven wants it to be finished."

She said growling lightly to him. She wasnt mad at him, just she knew Raven wanted them to kill their oppenent, and thats what she would do. Raven was the leader here, and it was her job to do what she was told, if she liked it or not. Sure she wanted to be an elite, but knew she didnt stand much of a chance, as there were many other here, so had the same chance as getting it as her. She didnt want to seem weak, because she didnt finish off the brute, but she didnt know if she would be able to kill him. She knew he was strong, even if you lost a fight, it didnt mean you were weak. You could fight someone, and loose one time, the second time you could win.

Maybe one day it wasnt good for you, you had bad luck. Other days your luck seemed to soar, today she didnt know what day it was for here. Sure she loved a good fight, but not when the whole pack died. She hated being in a pack when there was only a few members, and soon it would be like that. But if Raven wanted it like this, it would be like this.

Jasmine lunged at the brute, aiming for his hind right leg, that seemed to be in better shape than the rest. With him now being in a bit worse shape than herself, it gave her a bit of an advantage. Her legs all seemed to be in good shape, but her whole body seemed numb, she didnt remember where the pain came from. Her whole body ached, but she ignored it for now, only concentrating on the brute. She would fight till Raven told her to stop, not wanting to be known as a weakling because she left the brute alone.

"I will not leave you alone. Raven has declared a fight till the death, thats what I shall do. I wont be known as a weakling, and neither should you, so fight damit!"

She snarrled madly, the anger inside her not really changing. She hopped the fight would be over soon, so they could find out the winner of the fight.

His agile paws had gone too numb for him to avoid the mastiff, and once he was torn from the Labrador mix and thrown to the ground. The lab rose as she was released, and caught within her own rage lunged at the bull mastiff, jaws wide and teeth exposed. Colossus took this as a perfect moment to close the several foot gap between them that had occurred when he both fell and circled around to get back onto his legs, which were once again functioning. But as he moved forward to pounce upon her, he stopped short of jumping, and a male parttail of horror and disbelief stretched across his face. His right leg was sending out messages of crippling agony, but there were no signs of pain written on his features nor a whimper from his mouth. Instead he stared, amazed and horrified.

His leg, it was absolutely smothered in blood. He could feel the liquid pooling about his paws, almost searing hot against his flesh, made icy-cold from the pouring rain. He began to breathe again, only realizing just then that he had stopped. Then again ,everything had stopped, smell, the sounds in the air, the only thing that existed was his leg, torn open brutally by a set of fangs. He did not think that the bitch had intended the wound to actually be as damaging as it was, but he already understood what had happened.

As he attempted to shift his weight in the slightest his right foreleg slipped forward in the mud. Normally he'd never succumb to such a clumsy act, but before he even realized his mistake he'd already contacted the ground. His left paw crumpled in beneath him, leaving the right sticking out before the beast. His only remaining eye was flung completely open into the mud, made bloody and runny from the death of dogs and weeping heavens. He hadn't meant to fall, but he didn't really have much of a choice in the matter.

He turned his head but did not try to rise, knowing full well that such an accomplishment could never be made now. His eye opened wide, reddened from irritation, but still focused on the cloudy sky. His breath became more shallow until it nearly ceased, and Colossus thought that he heard faint sounds.. voices from his past. They called out to him, and when his eye slid shut it was clear that he'd expired, leaving the lab mix to duel with Jasmine on her own.

Jasmine had only moments to defend herself as the Lab cross lunged at her. Jasmine knew the Rottweiler had already lost, and was unable to fight back. She didnt care about killing him at the moment, she would deal with the other bitch first. Snarrling madly, she stepped back, and the bitchs fangs only met with the extra skin that was around her neck. She lunged back, aiming at the wound that Colossus had already made. She wouldnt go down, not now, she was too far. Especially to this smaller female, who didnt seem to have any working dog in her. Labs wernt known for their fighting skills, only to run along side the stupid two leggers. The thought of them made her mad, and she roared a deadly snarl, which was a melody to hell, but brought death upon the heavens. At the same time, she slashed across this females face attemping to damage her orb like she did the male. Jasmine had lots of damage to her, but not affecting so much that she wasnt able to battle like the male, she just more attacks on him. She tucked her neck back in further, not letting anyone get to her throat.

((Okay, we can start to bring this to an end now...

:o Le gasp! Is Colossus really dead? I thought he just wasn't fighting anymore!))

Rain blurred Raven's vision for a moment, as he stood in the centre of the battlefield, coat dripping with the icy cold liquid. But as he raised his head to the heavens once more, he could almost feel it easing off slightly. Blinking slowly to himself, he realised that the warmer seasons were coming once more, and nature was about to again change completely. Gaze falling back to the field, he could see now who the victors were. Quite a fair few bodies lay on the ground, blood soaking the floor around them, and this was good. He couldn't help but be surprised to see the form of Colossus, quite a fine member indeed, amongst them, eyes closed, apparently dead. He hadn't been paying as much attention to each individual fight as much as he should have, but he deduced that Jasmine had been the killer, her standing so close to the body. He could see Sweet Misery and Sharpay taunting each other on the opposite side - Although apparently not as much physical work had been done. But, having said that, he did like Sweet Misery, as she was more crafty than full out evil - And that was an excellent quality.

Standing up, claws sunk deep into the soft ground, a mixture of blood and dirt oozing up between his daggers. Lips curled up into a snarl, and he let a threatening growl echo across the fields, louder than even those around him put together. It was finished. Looking around him bitterly, he could see a few canines looking over, stopping whatever it was they were doing. The victors were clear, but how fairly each of them had won, he didn't know. Cheating and back-stabbing were important parts in times like this, and he could feel the betrayal running ripe through each dogs hearts. 'Friends' had been forced to turn upon each other, and comrads had fallen under each others claws. For one who was not as cold-blooded as Raven, it was a sickening sight - A crime against nature. But that was what the bull was here for. To turn the most basic rules of life onto themselves.

"It is finished..." He growled, turning his back on the most part of the contestants. Starting to head towards the direction of the woods, he left the others behind to think. He had a lot of planning to do himself. He would return to this very spot when the next elite had been chosen. But when he came back, he could see more clearly who the surviors were. Crippled dogs may be lying amongst the dead - It was hard to tell right now. And if he left, those who had 'won' could even converse amongst themselves, discussing victories. None of the dogs here knew what Raven wanted. None of them. He didn't want to kill off about half his mighty pack. But it simply had to be done. He didn't want them all to fight to the death - No, just overpowering another was enough. He didn't want to see some of his best fall - But again, it was what was to be now. The Death Stalkers were about to make a huge move, and he would be there when they did. He had heard whispers of war amongst them... They did not know of what they talked about. This was going to be big, but not the final move. No, things here were just beginning...

Rat pushed down the mongrel, it scratched at her and she winced, it felt like fire burning through her. Rat stepped back, then heard Raven's words. It had finished.

Distracted, Rat leapt back onto the mongrel, pinning it down. The mongrel struggled and Rat had a hard time trying to keep it down. She grabbed hold of it's neck and shook it ferosiouly (sp?). The mongrel lay on the ground, breathing heavily, alive, but with no chance of survival.

Rat stepped back and survayed the battlefield. Many dogs lay dead. Rat was surprised to see Colossus's limp body on the ground. Right from the start she could tell he was a good fighter, well, there was no use thinking now. Nothing could bring him back, it was over.

An eerie silence surrounded Rat. She breathed heavily. The cuts and bruises hurt, but she had no time to feel pain, yet, scars this big would last for a while. Rat felt lucky. She knew there were plenty bigger and stronger dogs fighting agaisnt her, but she had won now. She was not dead.

Rat herself did not fear death. You live you die. Nobody cares, so why should she care? She knew she was fighting for Raven, dieing for Raven would be a very loyal thing to do indeed. Rat would be prepared to die for Raven. Yet who knew what happened when you died? Rat paused. Nobody knew, nobody could find out. But once you were dead, you weren't around to think about it anymore.

A cold chill swept the area and Rat shuddered. So many dogs had died...some may of come to be her friends even. But she didn't have time for friends. She didn't have time for many things now. It was a commitment. You needed to prove yourself, put yourself in danger.

Rat kept a neutura (sp?) expression. She looked around again. And sat. She guessed she could go now. She looked over to Sharpay. She seemed OK. Rat could tell she was a good fighter. But Raven would be the judge of that, surely?

Rat turned to look at the forest behind her. The wind ruffled her mongrel fur and she wandered towards it. To find shelter, food, quiet. Rat looked back for the last time. So many had died. Rat knew she was lucky.

Jasmine was about to lunge at the bitch once more, when she heard the announcment from Raven. She stopped in her tracks, and turned her dial towards him, hearing it was over. She was slightly happy but also dissapointed, knowing she could have done better than she had. She looked over at Colossus, wondering if he was ok.

"Good fight."

She said to him but nothing more. No emotions were shown towards him, knowing she could never show them to anyone. No she had done that before, and got in shit. If she didnt become an elite now, she knew she would try her best to become one in the future. She looked around, seeing that the strong truly did stand out, and survied among the rest. This was just a test to prove who was really worth enough to be apart of the Death Stalkers.

Once she saw Raven leave, she sat on her hanches, awaiting for Raven to give the next command. The fight was over, and soon they would know who the 'chossen' one was.

ooc: No.. just about as close as you can be though, without being dead. Poor fellow.

'Good fight.'

As if the words had snapped him from his spell all sound and the brightness of the world returned to him, ten times its normal intensity. He hardly had energy enough to open his eye, forget about rising to his feet. His only response to her comment was a short, gruff sound that seemed like a hybrid between a cough and a snort. It wasn't a disdainful sound, nor did it hold no humor. In fact, the cough didn't mean anything at all, it was just an acknowledgment to her statement. Maybe later, if he hadn't already died, he's give a proper reply to her statement. But for now he'd lie in he mud, concentrating on returning warmth back to his body.

After a few moment's hesitation he felt tingling sensation around his back toes, and while they were slightly painful it told him that he still existed in the realm of the living. Yet another pause was given and he pushed himself off of his side with a fore paw, showing clearly to the world that the spark of life still kindled within his breast. Satisfied enough to have his legs beneath him, even if he was lying down on top of them, he allowed himself to become comfortable in the little nest of mud.

ooc: Short post.. But I'm just closing off my posts, because I'll be leaving for a bit.
